I needed a good Swedish meatball recipe and what could possibly be better than IKEA’s famous meatballs? So, I tried out the recipe and let me tell you, it is really easy. You need about 40 minutes to prep them, which includes rolling out the meatballs and then they cook for about 20 minutes.
They are super simple and so delicious – you just won’t believe how much they taste like the meatballs you get in the food court at IKEA. I served them with pasta, but you could serve them with mashed potatoes or even these potato pancakes if you wanted.
Whatever you decide to serve them with, you are absolutely going to love the flavor of these Swedish meatballs. They have the traditional meatball ingredients like beef, breadcrumbs and onion and you serve them with a delicious creamy sauce made from full fat cream.
They really are the best! And, you could make these amazing chocolate chip cookies to serve for dessert.
