I'm pretty obsessed with owls lately; they’re just such interesting creatures! They’re adorable, yet are dignified hunters; they seem almost mystical or magical since you don’t see them all that often; the females are the larger, more aggressive, and more beautiful gender (whoop!); and a group of owls is called a parliament – how cool is that?

But enough about awesome owl facts, let’s show you how to make some super cute owl ornaments out of socks (just make sure you wash those socks; no one likes a stinky owl!). We love the cool eyebrows on these owls as it makes them look a little more professionally made, and less child-like if you know what we mean. We also love the idea of making a little family, so use different-sized socks for each one; maybe you can make one to represent each member of your family!
Happy owling!
