If there is one kind of fabric which is ridiculously versatile and always in style, it is denim. I am a huge fan of denim, and so is every member of my family, which is why it seems like we are always going through jeans.
Oftentimes, our old jeans are not really in suitable condition for thrifting, so that means we have to find other uses for them.

That’s the end of the video, but I would also optionally suggest that you close the pockets off using glue or stitches.
Although, there could be a benefit to leaving them open—namely that they would dry faster if your glass has condensation on it and gets one of the pockets wet.
Seriously though … blue jeans … and coasters. Those are two things I never would have thought could go together.
But lo and behold, old denim pockets make for awesome drink coasters. Have fun making yours and showing them off at your next party!
