I love the colors in this plaque and it has such a wonderfully vintage look to it. You can pick this one up on Etsy for around $75 if you prefer not to do it yourself. If you prefer to DIY your project, you’ll need a strip of concrete for the backing, colored glass for the mosaic and then your numbers and you could do those in just about any material.

3. DIY Living Number Display
I love the idea of having a living house number display. This one isn’t actually living – you use faux grass to create it – but it certainly looks like real grass. You’ll need to build a small shadow box to hold the grass and your house numbers. Once done, just glue in the grass and glue your numbers on top. It’s an easy project and one that has so much character.

Sometimes the simplest ideas are just right there in front of you. If you have a few leftover patio stones or concrete squares, you can turn those into amazing house number displays. You just paint, chalk, or otherwise affix those numbers to your stones and then use those stones to display your street number. Place them in a flower bed or at the edge of your porch.

13. DIY Hanging Bucket House Number Sign
Small galvanized buckets, which you can pick up at the Dollar Store for around a dollar each, make a wonderful house number sign. Hang the buckets in a line down an old mirror or picture frame and paint your house number on them. The buckets can then house flowers or succulents to add an extra flair of decoration to the front porch. Hang as many buckets as you need to get your number on there – you could also leave off the frame if your house number is pretty long and just hang the buckets from hooks or nails.

17. DIY Nautical Buoy Coastal Address Markers
I have to admit, my dream is to live at the coast. Even if you don’t have a house on the beach though, you can make these lovely buoys that perfectly display your house number and give a little nautical feel to your outdoor décor. These buoys are inspired by Pottery Barn – and of course the ocean – and they’re a lovely way to display your house number. 21. Framed House Number Makeover
That old picture frame – or new frame if you prefer – can be used to make a beautiful house number display. Instead of hanging this one on the door however, you’ll hang it right on the side of your house. The backing is bead board which gives the entire frame display such character. You can paint the bead board to match your front door, shutters, or any other aspect of your exterior décor. Then add your numbers. I love how easy this is and it’ll cost you just a few dollars depending on the supplies that you have on hand.
