If you spend a lot of time reading my posts, you probably know by now that wall art is one of my favorite things. We live in a very big house. That wasn’t always the case, so we still have a lot of blank walls that are just glaringly empty right now. At first this intimidated me, but as I started getting into wall art, I began to see every blank wall as an opportunity.
For example, recently I followed a tutorial to turn a favorite shower curtain into dramatic wall art. I also had a blast making stunning butterfly wall art. And now I have found a great new tutorial from WhatsUpMoms which teaches you how to make a bold statement (literally) with DIY quotation wall art!
Video Tutorial
Supplies Needed:
(Amazon.com links)
16*20 Canvas
Spray paint (Rust-Oleum)
3" sticker letters (Office supply store)
Glitter
Glue
Paintbrush
Sealant (krylon crystal clear)
This is an awesome project because it looks so easy to do, and you can customize it to say anything you want! I have so many ideas for what I could do with this. There are so many quotations and lyrics which are special to me and my family. This would work great for scripture verses as well.
That isn’t the only amazing thing about this video though! While you are watching it, you’ll hear Brooke share a really moving story about the quotation that she chose for her wall art. It’s very uplifting, and that alone is worth the watch, even if you don’t plan to make any wall art of your own. So enjoy the video!

Great instruction you make it seem doable so I'm not afraid to try this one. I'm undecided still about what I want to say. Thank you
