Lately I’ve been running around like crazy going to flower shops, dress stores, and searching online for DIY decor projects—because my sister is getting married! I am so excited for her, and I’m so thrilled I get to be so closely involved in planning her special day. We found her a dress pretty quickly, and a venue. The hardest part has been the decor, which she wants to do herself.
There are tons of cool projects online. A lot of them, like this gorgeous crochet wedding dress, would be way too hard. I do a lot of paper crafts, though. I thought originally of something like these 3D colorful paper lanterns for the banquet tables, but I figured those would be way too much work too. Thankfully, that’s when I stumbled across an awesome video on YouTube with a perfect project for DIY wedding decor:
As you can see, this video teaches you how you can make giant paper flowers! They would look great any wedding—you could use them as decorations at the ceremony and the reception. As you will see, they are ridiculously easy to make! They don’t look it though—I would have guessed that these would be super complicated. Another awesome thing about this project is how easy it is to adapt it to your needs. You can choose any colors or sizes of paper, so you can make any colors or sizes of blossoms. My sis and I are going to have a blast making these, and I just know they are going to add some gorgeous DIY charm to her special day!
