Do you use dryer sheets? I never did in the past. They always seemed like an optional laundry purchase to me. I mean, yeah, they make your fabrics softer and they get rid of static cling, but they are an extra expense and aren’t 100% necessary.
Well, I just changed my mind and added them to my next grocery list. And underlined them. I really, really want them.
Here’s what made me rethink dryer sheets!
There are actually a ton of uses for dyer sheets outside the laundry room. You can use them for everything from deodorizing a drawer or suitcase to releasing a nice scent into your bathroom as you pull on the toilet paper roll. Yes, I know that last one is hard to picture—when you watch the video you will understand what I’m talking about.
My favorite one though is the hack where she rubs the dryer sheets on her arms. Why? It turns out that they are great for repelling mosquitoes. This is just the time of year when that kind of advice comes in handy! I can’t stand bug spray (it smells awful to me and I feel weird with it sprayed on), so I am glad to have an alternative solution.
I may still never actually end up using laundry sheets in my wash, but I am definitely going to buy a pack. They are going to solve so many problems around the house!
