You just have to remove the drawers, refinish the dresser and then add a few small pieces of wood to make the top shelves even. The top shelves are made where the top drawers of the dresser were. What you end up with is a great console that will hold the TV on top with open shelves for your satellite, DVD or Blu-Ray player or any other media device that you want and drawers to hold movies or other items.
