SUPPLIES NEEDED:  Tin can Orange yarn Bottle caps Blue foam paper Yellow foam paper Scissors Black marker Hot glue gun & glue

TIME TO MAKE:  45 minutes

Then paint the larger lids or bottle caps brown and set them aside to dry completely.

Wrap yarn around the tin can several times, but don't cover it completely.  Glue this in place.

Use a marker to draw squiggly lines to create the look of feathers on each wing.

Fold a piece of felt or foam paper in half then cut out a leave/wing shape.  Cut them in half at the seam.

Glue the smaller caps inside the now dry brown lids.  Then add googly eyes to the center of the smaller lid.

Glue the wings onto the sides of the can.

Then cut out a small yellow triangle of felt and glue between the eyes on the can.

Attach the eyes to the top edge of the can with glue.

This is such a fun little craft that can be used as a pencil holder, porch decoration, garden decor, or just sit on a shelf inside your home!
