Staple one end of the toilet paper roll together, then paint the roll light brown on all sides and set aside to dry.
Cut out an oval of brown paper about 3" taller and 2" wider than the roll, then cut "spikes" around the side and glue onto the toilet paper roll.
Fold the brown paper down over the top of the paper roll and glue in place for "hair". Next, use a marker to draw the face and feet.
