SUPPLIES NEEDED
OLD CDs or DVDs Fishing line Beads Scissors Pen Soldering iron Hot glue gun Hot glue sticks
STEP 1
Trace a half moon shape onto a CD and cut out the shape setting the rest aside for later. Repeat so you have 2 identical moon shapes.
STEP 2
Trace star shapes onto the remaining CD and cut out. Make around 30 stars total for your mobile.
STEP 3
Use a soldering gun to burn 6 to 8 holes around the outer edge of a CD. Run fishing line through and tie a bead on the top with a knot to secure.
STEP 4
Starting at the top, add a bead 3" down and secure with a knot. 3" past it, glue the fishing line between two stars. Repeat until 4 to 5 stars are on each line.
STEP 5
On the last string, add a half moon after the first or second star. Then add additional fishing lines through the holes on top. Thread through beads and tie to hang.
