A unique upcycled denim craft that is easy to transform for any holiday theme!
Supplies: Foam wreath form Old denim Burlap Mini fall decor Orange & yellow ribbon Scissors Hot glue gun & glue
Step 1: Cut the seam out of the leg of blue jeans, then cut the leg from the top. Cut along the center of the remaining pant leg to create 2 equal pieces of denim.
Step 2: Fold each leg in half and glue at the center so it holds the fold with the inside of the denim folded inward.
Step 3: Every few inches, glue this leg shape over itself to create a ruffle look, then glue this around the top edge of the wreath form.
Step 4: Cut two lengths of burlap the same length and width of the denim. Fold them in half and glue as you did with the denim.
Step 5: Glue the burlap over the bottom inside edge of the wreath ruffling as you did the denim before.
Step 6: Go around the wreath separating the denim and burlap and creating fluffier ruffles, stapling together to hold in place.
Step 7: Add a few bows and/or a fall themed character like this sunflower scarecrow on the outside edge of the wreath before hanging.
Add this wreath to your mantle, door, or wall as a lovely decor for the entire fall season! Easy to customize and practically free to make!
