SUPPLIES NEEDED:  Plastic bottles Red spray paint Black spray paint Black marker Googly eyes Washer Jewelry wire Scissors Tape Soldering iron

TIME TO MAKE:  1 hour

Now, cut the middle/flat portion of the bottle off and set aside the lid end.

Cut a water bottle in half and set the bottom half aside.

Then cut the portion below the neck of the bottle off, and cut it into two pieces. Draw a wing on these.

Cut two strips of the flat plastic and curl them into antenna shapes.

Now, spray the antenna and lid black and let them set aside to dry.

Spray the bottom of the bottle and the wings red then let them dry.

While this dries, use a marker to draw spots onto the wing pieces of the ladybug.

Divide the base with tape and paint the top and bottom parts black.

Using a washer and jewelry wire, attach the pieces, antenna then wings.

Once everything is dry, use a soldering iron to create a hole on the top of the base, then on the wings and antenna.

Now, glue a lid onto the ladybug to cover the loose wires and attach googly eyes to it for the face.

Tie and cut off the excess wire between the wings.

Repeat this process for each ladybug planter, painting different colors as desired.  Use for live or fake plants and display in your home.
