SUPPLIES NEEDED:  Empty ice cream pail 2 colors ribbon Fake flowers Beaded ribbon Scissors Craft knife Ruler Hot glue gun & glue Soldering iron

Then go around the outside of the pail making a mark every 1" with a ruler.

Cut the top rim and handle off of the pail and set them aside.

Then glue the ribbon on the inside, and begin weaving it in and out of the flaps.

Cut from the top down to the base, leaving it attached at the bottom, at each of these marks.

Use one of the ribbons to make a ruffled edging all along the top of the basket.

Continue this alternating colors of ribbon until the whole thing is covered.

Then, use the soldering iron to make a hole on both sides of the basket to stick the original handle through.

Add a bit of beaded ribbon on top of the ruffle.

Then glue ribbon or fake flowers all along the handle as decoration.

Stick the handle through the hole and glue or tape it into place on the inside for extra security.

Use this basket to hold fruit, your latest craft project, or even sit on your side table to hold the remote controls for your TV.
