DIY DENIM GARLAND

Upcycle old blue jeans by cutting out the pockets to create this adorable garland for your mantle!

Supplies: Old blue jeans Pink & white fabric Beaded ribbon Sewing machine or Needle & thread Scissors Hot glue gun & glue

Step 1: Cut the back pockets out of old denim, leaving a 1/2" by 1" strip on each side in tact.  You will need 8 to 10 for your garland.

Step 2:  When you have all of the pockets needed, begin sewing them together using the smalls trip you left on each side.

Step 3:  Once the garland is sewed together, tie a ribbon or strip of fabric between each pocket, then glue beads or ribbon along the pocket tops.

Hang your garland from your mantle, across a shelf, doorway, or on the wall.  A great project versatile for any time of year or holiday theme!
