How do I Make Pom Poms?
Pom poms are one of my favorite things to make with yarn. They are so easy and super versatile. Making them is truly one of the easiest crafting projects I ever do, and I know you'll love making them too. My process is below.
- Wrap yarn around the palm of your hand or a small piece of cardboard 10-25 times, depending on how large you want the pom pom.
- Next, slip the loop of yarn off your hand gently and cut the end away from the skein of yarn.
- Now, you will wrap another small piece of yarn around the middle of the loop of yarn and tighten it.
- Clip the sides of the yarn loops so it is tied in the middle, with loose ends all around.
- Now, you will trim the sides of the pom pom and fluff to create a ball.
Can I Make This In Other Colors?
Yes! I love the solid white bunny design as it is just classic and matches any decor. You can use any colors you want. I think pink, purple, blue, yellow, and green in pastels are ideal for this bunny. Of course, you can get creative and even use gray or brown yarn to make it more realistic, but I think the bright colors look best hanging on the wall.

How to Make a Pom Pom Easter Bunny Wreath
This wreath requires several large yarn pom poms. So, you will begin by wrapping yarn around the palm of your hand.
Once you have 20-25 wraps around your hand, gently remove it from your hand and tie another piece of yarn around the middle.
Clip the loops on both sides of the bundle of yarn.
Trim off excess to create a ball of yarn (pom pom).
Now, draw a large circle onto cardboard, and using a craft knife cut it out then cut the center out so you have a wreath shape.
Glue the pom poms to the wreath frame until you are happy with the look.
Cover all of the cardboard on one side with pom poms.
Now, you will cut out two large white ears from craft paper.
Then cut out two slightly smaller ears from pink craft paper.
Glue the ears together.
Attach the ears to the back of the cardboard wreath.
Now, you will cut a length of ribbon, and add it to the back of the wreath in a loop for hanging.
Hang the wreath on your door for Easter!
Crafter's Tip:
If you don't want to make the pom poms on your own, you can buy handmade yarn pom poms on Etsy in a multitude of colors. You can also use more traditional purchased pom poms for this craft.
