Do you crochet? I just recently started and I have to tell you – I love it!
I am no expert by any means, but I do love making things with those little crochet hooks. My recent thing? Crochet cardigans/jackets that I can wear for all four seasons.

Why Crochet Your Own Cardigan?
Crocheting is a great way to kill some time. It’s a wonderful hobby that could produce any number of gifts for others or things for yourself.
Why should you crochet your own cardigan?
Because you can! You can buy them of course, but really intricately designed cardigans are not cheap. I spent over $40 on the last one that I bought, which makes DIY crocheted cardigans a much better choice for me.
When Do You Wear Crocheted Jackets?
Crocheted jackets or cardigans can honestly be worn at any time, for any number of occasions and during all four seasons.
You just have to choose the type of cardigan that you want – short sleeves, open design, etc. – and then go from there. Choose your crochet jacket pattern based on what you want to add to your wardrobe.
What Do You Need To Crochet Your Own Cardigan?
Well, you will need crochet hooks and yarn, obviously. Other than that, you really just need to choose a pattern, and I have 40 of them for you. That’s 40 crochet jacket patterns that are perfect for any season.
How Long Does It Take To Crochet A Jacket?
The length of time that you need depends on a couple of things. First, you need to consider how skilled you are. Beginners may take longer to work up a certain pattern than experts. You will also determine the time by looking at the pattern itself. Patterns for long sleeved cardigans with hoods are obviously going to take longer than sleeveless vest type patterns.
