So, Halloween is nearly here. What better time than now to show you this amazing deviled dragon eggs recipe? Now, these aren’t really dragon eggs, but you can tell your kids that they are.
I told mine that I had a nice treat and showed them these dragon eggs and they loved them. Of course, most kids love a good deviled egg but this recipe just makes it so much more fun.
Spooky And Delicious Deviled Dragon Eggs Recipe
What makes these ordinary deviled eggs extraordinary is the fact that you turn them into dragon eggs with some food coloring. The process is a bit long, it takes around three hours for it to complete.
But trust me when I saw that it is well worth it to see the looks on the faces of your little ones, or your dinner guests. These would be great for a pre-Halloween get together with family and friends or just for an any night of the week meal.
These would be great to serve as a side with a great chicken pot pie for a bit of comfort food.
The deviled egg part is a bit different from ordinary deviled eggs, too. Instead of traditional mayonnaise and mustard, this one has tartar sauce and honey mustard, and the taste is out of this world. I made these as a side for dinner one night just to try out the recipe.
I paired them with a great pot roast and this slow cooker mac and cheese, and let me tell you, my family absolutely loved them. Of course, kids are going to love them because of how they look, but they’re also really tasty.
If you want a great new deviled egg recipe that is different and delicious, this is definitely the one.
Imagine turning ordinary eggs into spectacular dragon eggs!
Food coloring turns those regular eggs into blackened drag eggs that are perfect for Halloween.
Once the eggs are ready, mix together tartar sauce, honey mustard, and other ingredients for filling.
These are the most unique and fun deviled eggs ever!
