- 1 ½ pound (700 g) chicken: minced
- ⅓ cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsps. flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsps. cream
- ¼ cup grated parmesan
- 10 cubes of mozzarella cheese
- 34 fl. oz (1 l) tomato sauce
Instructions
1. Mix minced chicken, parsley, breadcrumbs, cheese, flour, eggs and cream. Season with a generous pinch of salt and pepper.
2. Form 10 patties, top each one with mozzarella, and roll to form a meatball.
3. Pour ⅓ of the sauce on the bottom of the slow cooker, place half of the meatballs, pour another ⅓, place the meatballs, and pour the leftover sauce.
4. Cook on HIGH for 2.5 hours. Optionally, top with more cheese and parsley before serving.
Assemble your ingredients ahead of time to save a few steps in the kitchen.
