This adorable and easy to make headband is the perfect accessory to any outfit!
SUPPLIES NEEDED: Old blue jeans Elastic White thread Sewing needle Tape measure or ruler Scissors Tape
Step 1: Cut the seams off old blue jeans legs, then discard them. Cut the pant legs apart so you have two equal sized strips of denim.
Step 2: Cut this strip of fabric into 5 equal strips that are 1" by 18". Then, stack them and sew one end of them together.
Step 3: Now braid the denim strips together weaving them in and out until you reach the end. Then sew that end together to create a secure braid.
Step 4: Now, sew a bit of elastic between the two ends to connect the headband. And then cover the elastic with a separate piece of denim.
Wear this headband with any outfit. You can add ribbons or beads to the top to make it more unique if desired. An easy and cheap accessory craft!
