The perfect way to keep your keys handy! A simple tutorial that takes just a few minutes and makes a perfect gift!
SUPPLIES NEEDED: Old blue jeans Wooden beads Charms Sewing needle (or sewing machine) Thread Key ring and chain Scissors
Step 1: Cut a teardrop shape from denim for every feather you want on your keychain. Mine are around 2" wide and 3" long.
Step 2: Once cut into a teardrop, you will sew a seam along the center with the zig-zag stitch on your sewing machine.
Step 3: Once the seam is in place in the middle, begin peeling the threads off the sides leaving just the base.
Step 4: Thread beads onto a piece of thread, then tie them to the keychain. Sew the keychain to the top of the feathers.
Add additional lengths of ribbon, beads, or feathers until you are happy with the look of your keychain. This is an excellent homemade gift!
