UPCYCLED BOTTLE CATERPILLAR PENCIL HOLDER

You are going  to love this simple pencil holder or organizer!

SUPPLIES NEEDED:  Empty plastic bottles Cardboard Yellow felt Green felt Green foam paper Yellow pipe cleaners Black beads Scissors Hot glue gun & glue

TIME TO MAKE: 30 minutes

Then wrap them in felt, alternating yellow and green colors. 

Cut the top half off of four bottles, and discard the lid end. 

Then, cover the piece of cardboard with green felt and glue it into place.

Cut a piece of cardboard long enough to hold the bottles on top with a curved end.

Cut out a caterpillar body shape from cardboard and cover in yellow felt then add a bit of green on chest.

Glue the covered bottles onto the green covered cardboard alternating colors. 

Then, glue it behind the bottles on the larger cardboard piece to create the body of the caterpillar. 

Make and glue on the eyes, mouth, and antenna on the caterpillar head.

Now, you can add a few beads in front of the bottles as feet, and fill them with pens, pencils, or other desk items! A perfect kid's homework station.
