Unfortunately, the younger me didn’t know about DIY, so those old caps just sat in a box and went unused for years.

1. Adorable DIY Bottle Cap Garden Flower
This little flower would be an adorable addition to your garden or lawn. You make it with bottle caps and a tin can lid – it’s a great upcycling project.
Just bend your bottle caps to make the petals and then attach them all to an upcycled lid. Use different colored bottle caps to create a really unique flower or match them all for a more uniform look.

2. Giant Vintage Bottle Cap Letter
I love the idea of turning vintage bottle caps into these giant monogramed letters.
You can create an entire name or just use a letter and these are perfect for decorating your mantel or even putting your name on your front porch.
They’re also pretty easy to make and a great way to upcycle those old bottle caps.

3. Upcycled Bottle Cap State Art
Whatever state you live in, this upcycled bottle cap state art is a great way to show your pride of where you are from.
These would be great gifts for people who already have everything else and they’re much easier to make than they look. Just outline your state in bottle caps and attach to repurposed wood or slats that you can get for around a dollar each.

4. Vintage Bottle Cap Mirror
This bottle cap lined mirror has a wonderful vintage look to it and you can easily make it with a handful of bottle caps and an oval mirror – or any shape that you desire.
You just glue the bottle caps to the frame of the mirror so if you have a mirror that has a relatively wide frame, you can fit more bottle caps in to make it really unique.

one on Etsy for just over $20 and it’s got tons of bottle caps hanging down. You could also recreate it if you prefer the DIY way with a base and some wire to hang your bottle caps.

7. Easy DIY Bottle Cap Coasters
You can turn those old bottle caps into great coasters and you can design them however you want. You just have to choose your design and then glue the bottle caps all together.
Line your design up on cork and then glue the caps down. Then just trim around the design for a great unique coaster.

8. Great Beer Cap Clock
You can turn those old beer caps into a great clock for men who love their brews.
Or, you could use soda bottle caps to make it more family friendly. You’ll need a clock kit for this one, or an old clock that you don’t mind repurposing. I love this idea for the family room or even the kitchen above the table. It’s easy and gives you such a unique clock for the home.

9. DIY Bottle Cap Jewelry
Bottle cap jewelry is all the rage in the South and you can find it in many boutiques and specialty stores.
Of course, it’s not cheap, which is why this DIY version is a bit better. You can turn those bottle caps into great pendant necklaces or charm bracelets and these are perfect gifts for preteens and teenagers, especially if you use the bottle caps of their favorite sodas.

Here’s another wonderful way to turn those bottle caps into jewelry.
This one uses the inside of the bottle cap, which you paint a bright neon color. Little girls and adults alike are going to love the uniqueness of this one and it’s so easy to make.

11. Gorgeous Bottle Cap Wreath
Turn those bottle caps into this beautiful wreath. I love this idea, especially for hanging in a man cave or den. You can easily create a wreath from your bottle caps by just hot gluing them to a wreath form.

12. DIY Bottle Cap Picture Frames
Turn old ordinary frames into extraordinary gifts with your bottle caps. You just need a standard frame, which you can get at the Dollar Store for under a dollar in most cases.
Then just use hot glue to attach bottle caps all around the outside. This creates a very unique and very beautiful frame that is perfect for displaying your favorite family photos.

13. Adorable Bottle Cap Candles
Those little bottle caps make the perfect candle base. You just pour wax into the cap over a short wick. These are great for decorating for weddings or just adding a little style to your home. They’re also perfect if you want a floating candle scene.
Because the bottle caps are so light, they will float perfectly and give you a lovely light at the same time.

15. DIY Cheap And Easy Bottle Cap Table
This bottle cap table may be my favorite thing ever and you can make it from a repurposed side table. Just glue your bottle caps to the top, making whatever design you want to showcase.
This would be a great kids’ table or you could use beer caps to make a nice side table for the man cave or garage.

Turn those caps into stylish pins! You just take your bottle cap of choice and glue it to a safety pin. These are great for showing off those vintage bottle caps. I found this one on Etsy, and it’s under $3, which is well worth the price given that you won’t have to do the gluing yourself. If you do prefer the DIY way, this is sure to be a relatively easy project.

17. Upcycled Bottle Cap Birdhouse
Kids are going to love helping create this little birdhouse that has a roof of bottle caps. It’s colorful and fun and you make it with a wooden birdhouse and those old bottle caps that you have on hand. Just let the little ones glue or nail (help them if they’re nailing) the caps to the top of the birdhouse and you have a really decorative house for your feathered friends and a great decoration for your garden.

18. DIY Bottle Cap Kitchen Magnets
Turn those old bottle caps into wonderful magnets for the fridge. You can use them as they are and just glue in a magnet to the inside or turn them over and glue the magnet to the outside and then decorate the inside with pictures or whatever you want.
This is a really easy project and a wonderful way to add some rustic whimsy to the kitchen.

I literally have never seen anything like this great pin cushion ring that you can make from a bottle cap.
This is a great thing to have on hand when you’re sewing, especially if you don’t have another set of hands to help. The best thing is that this only takes about five minutes to put together and it’s a real time saver when you’re sitting at the sewing machine.
